No Need For Remote: Here's How To Control Your TV With Your Smartphone
Do you know that your phone isn't just for calling, texting and playing games? Neither did you also know that they can be used as a remote control for your television. However, these days our phones are becoming way more smarter than you think and they can do way more like paying bills, video calls, ordering stuffs, and now it can be used as a remote control for your TV.

However, this article will be based on the no. 4 which is the "SmartThings" app. The SmartThings app can be downloaded from Google play store. Here's a photo of it on
Step 1
Download and open the SmartThings app on your mobile phone. Once you have clicked the app, you will see a pop up window on your phone, then click on "add now". Your TV model will be display on the phone then connect your phone to TV.
Step 2
Once you have added your TV model, your TV remote will be revealed on your mobile screen including the number keys.
Step 3
The number keys has been revealed on your phone, so you can comfortably control you TV with your smartphone.
In addition, you can try out other apps yourself and see the magic, but just follow instructions to avoid you making mistakes
